　　1. The filter belt deviation adjustment equipment should be equipped with anti-mud equipment.
　　During the initial period of operation of the belt filter press, the filter belt often deviates, which often causes the filter belt to be damaged by being rolled into the kneading roller, greatly reducing the service life of the filter belt. Later, we found through analysis that the main reason for the filter belt deviation was due to the failure of the filter belt deviation adjustment equipment to enter the mud. After the installation of anti-mud equipment, the problem of filter belt deviation was solved.
　　2. The filter belt should be a filter belt with an adhesive connection method, and should not use a filter belt with a metal buckle through steel wire connection interface. The filter belt with a metal buckle through steel wire connection interface is constantly worn by the scraper during actual operation. It is easy to crack from the interface, resulting in damage to the mesh belt. It must be replaced eventually. The operation cycle is only about 3 months. When the filter belt deviates, the filter belt will crack even in one month. After replacing the filter belt with an adhesive connection method, this problem was solved, and the filter belt operation cycle was increased to 6 months to 1 year. The main reason is that the interface of this type of filter belt is very flexible and is not easily damaged.
　　3. The tension of the lower filter belt should be less than the tension of the upper filter cloth.
　　The tension difference between the upper and lower filter belts has a significant impact on the dehydration of sludge. The side with greater pressure will press the mud cake toward the side with less pressure. Adjusting the tension of the filter belt so that the tension of the lower filter belt is smaller than the tension of the upper filter belt can increase the amount of mud produced by the lower filter belt's free peeling and improve the cake-forming rate of mud. During the actual operation, we adjusted the tension of the upper filter belt to 40-50psi and the tension of the lower filter belt to 30-40psi, achieving excellent sludge dewatering effect.
　　4. The filter belt speed should be adjusted in time to ensure sludge dehydration.
　　The belt speed of the filter belt also has a great influence on the sludge dewatering effect. When the moisture content of the incoming mud is high or the mixing effect of sludge and liquid medicine is not good, the belt speed should be reduced to extend the filtering time in the gravity dehydration zone to prevent the sludge from being extruded from both ends of the filter belt during the pressing period. Under normal circumstances, the belt speed selected by our company is 4-6m/min, which has better dehydration effect.
